To celebrate Kiley's birthday, we went to Northpoint Mall to the American Girl Store/Bistro. I've wanted to take her there for a long time and it finally worked out- just in time for her birthday. I had planned to just take her, but she insisted that Kathryn come along and celebrate with us.
Kiley brought her doll Emily to join us for some Afternoon Tea at the Bistro. Luckily, they had a seat just for her!
Kathryn doesn't have an American Doll yet, but they had one for her to borrow. She loved it! Especially when they brought the doll some tea cups too!
Our waiter and waitress brought our goodies and made sure to put a candle in the cupcake for Kiley. They even sang, off key, Happy Birthday to her.
Kathryn was excited for all the yummy treats! She loved being able to be one of the big girls. I was starting to get worried that she wasn't going to be happy to give the doll back, but she did with a nice goodbye and blew kisses to her!
It was fun to have this time with the girls!
Last, but not least, Kiley used her birthday money to purchase Kanani. She had been wanting this doll all year.
