Santorini Beach Day

We stayed on the southern part of the island in a more budget-friendly area. Our hotel was only a ten minute walk to the beach. Since our room was small and the air conditioner didn't work too well, our kids were a little more motivated to go to the beach!
Since we are in Europe, it took me awhile to find us a more "family friendly" area on the beach. Once we did, we were lucky to have a pathway that took us right to the beach chairs. The black sand was incredibly hot!
Kathryn watched for awhile and then was ready to go swim in the water to cool off.
Andrew and Scott were fun and pulled us around on our boat.
Kiley was happy to watch from her beach chair.
On the walk back, I started to wonder if I really was in Greece or in the southwest region of the United States-Colorado? New Mexico?

What a fun adventure on a blazing hot summer day!
