Park City

Thanks to my wonderful sister Kris for taking our kids so we could get away for the weekend! We went to Midway, Utah on Friday night and luckily, it is close to Utah's famous ice cream shop, GRANNY's. We had plans to go to Park City, but we waited until Granny's was open (for those of you who know Jeff.... He LOVES ice cream!!!) on Saturday to get our milkshakes. We decided to visit Park City to go on the Alpine Slide. Jeff could not believe that I had never been on it and I was born and raised in Utah. I have to admit that the ski lift freaked me out a bit, but I did enjoy the slide. That night we went to Salt Lake and we couldn't believe how much it has changed. They have totally urbanized the city. We went to the coolest place by the old Delta Center called The Gateway. It has a lot of cool restaurants, shops, and a movie theater. I highly recommend it for your next visit to the great state of Utah. We did get to catch the movie "Get Smart!" Go see this movie if you want to have a great laugh!!
