Today was a busy Friday! After cleaning, playing volleyball, and a lunch date with Jeff, we headed over to the kid's school so we could be the Mystery Readers for Kiley's class. Kathryn was a little shy at first, but she was so good and stayed on my lap throughout the entire story. I love that I can take her places and that she usually is very compliant. We shared one of my very favorite stories by Max Lucado, If I Only Had A Green Nose.
When I was teaching, I loved having Mystery Readers come to my classroom. Even the older children still love to be read to. I am so glad that I have the opportunity to volunteer when I can and still be a part of Avery Elementary.
