Kiley is definitely our performer. She has no problem getting in front of people to share her talents. This week she tried out for Avery's Talent Show and also performed with the 3rd graders at the PTA meeting this evening.
She had a great time hanging out with her friends waiting for the show to start.
There she is right in the middle front performing the "Mississippi Slide" and the "ChaCha Slide".

Tonight at the performace, I ran into a good friend/neighbor that I haven't talk to in a long time. She shared with me that she found out that she has Breast Cancer and is getting ready to start Chemo. After a few shed tears through the performace, I reflected on how precious life is and how thankful I am for each day. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with such minimal tasks and lose sight on the big picture of what is really important in life. My friend is one of the most positive people I have ever met. She has always been focused on her family and being happy. She is so strong and I know she will fight this like a girl!
