Today we traveled a few hours west to the coastal city of Brest.
During WWII, much of the area was destroyed .
We did stumble across a chateau that had a naval museum inside.
We decided to tour the museum because the kids could visit for free!
It was fun to explore inside the castle.
It was also great to be able to go outside on the walls and see the incredible views.
Kathryn and Scott are best buddies. He is always so sweet to her.
The weather was absolutely perfect!
Even though everything was in French, we still had fun exploring.
We did have an audio guide, but it was hard to follow and we gave up on it after awhile.
Everybody had fun on our adventure to the museum in the chateau in Brest. High five for the mom and dad!
We stopped at IKEA on the way home to celebrate with some dinner and ice cream.
