So you wonder why there hasn't been a post from us for awhile......
We're back into the routine of school and Mom is stressed out teaching :)~~
Everything is going well so far for the first few weeks. Scott is excited to have friends he knew last year in his 3rd grade class this year and that his teacher is fun(very important requirement). Our Kiley is loving having her own desk in 1st grade. Finally, Andrew is happy to have his mom right near his 4th grade classroom and having her work with his teachers everyday. I think it is probably me who enjoys it more, especially getting paid to watch my kids! Everything is going better for me so far this school year. I'm working with a great team and I get to teach my favorite subjects to three different classes: Reading and Social Studies!! We're getting used to waking up early and avoiding homework all afternoon, but we are still counting down the days until our Fall Break in September!
I sure do know that Spencer still comes home everyday saying that he loves school and his teachers are awesome!!!!!! I must agree with him. He loves having you for a teacher. I can't believe how much your kids have grown up. Kiley made me laugh all night yesterday. She did not stop talking the entire night. It made me laugh so much. She is hilarious and told me that she LLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEESSSSSS Lazagna! She kept me rolling all night. Thanks for letting her come over and play and letting Spencer go to your house. He had a blast.

ReplyDeleteWe don't go back to school until September 3rd! I don't know if I will survive that long though. I wish we had year round school! My kids hate being "stuck" at home as they say. They want school to start as bad as I do.
