On Saturday afternoon, we finally made it home. We had such a great time out west with our family, that it was hard to come back. The kids still talk about Grandma and Grandpa King and all of their cousins all the time. I know they miss them as much as we do. We actually left on Thursday, July 17 and drove to Denver, CO. We stayed the night there and on Friday after Jeff was finished with work, we drove straight through Kansas, Missouri, a little of Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee to get home. I'm so amazed that Jeff was able to drive so long! We were excited to stop in and see my niece Brinn in Nashville and so we could play with Harper. I think our pets are glad to have us home. Thanks so much to Lynn for taking such good care of our pets and our house! I'm adding in a picture of Kiley on the drive home. When we realized how quiet it was, we turned around to see her asleep!! They were all such good travelers!
I love that picture. I am so glad you are now home and my kids are glad too. We have missed you guys. It was fun swimming the other day.
