I know, most Moms say that they can't believe that the time has flown by and that they can't believe their children have grown...I guess in a way it was different for me. It was almost bittersweet as I thought about having my oldest turn 12 .
I am so excited to have him be 12 because it is always great to have another Priesthood holder in the family.
I now have a built- in 12 year-old babysitter! He is awesome with the baby!
He was able to have is Aaronic Priesthood ordination at his grandparent's home last Sunday! It was awesome! Now that he is 12, we are planning a family temple trip with the cousins.
I loved that he was able to go to Scout Camp with his dad over the summer because he was almost 12. They had such a great time.
This 12 year-old has such a fun, sarcastic, and witty personality.
I am so grateful that you are 12 now. One of the biggest reasons is because you were born at a time when so much was available to help you learn and grow. You have been blessed with so many opportunites to live a normal (if there is such a thing) life.
