Just My Cousin and Me

Recently, my cousin Cheryl

let her blog readers ask her any question.

I was trying to think of a really good question to ask like: How does she come up with so many cool ideas, but instead-

I finally came up with an original question:

Who is your favorite cousin?

She actually wrote a really sweet post about us growing up together that totally made my day.

I am so glad that my favorite cousin Cheryl moved to Utah because we always had a great time together! Just my cousin and me...

Sometimes our parents took us on fun road trips together where we had lots of fun playing at the beach or in the pool in really cool places like Evanston, WY- Just my cousin and me!

We were actually very different in a lot of ways. She was into animals and the environment, where I preferred basketball and soccer. The one great thing is whenever we got together we had fun hanging out at cool zoos like in San Diego or just watching Seven Brides for Seven Brothers on a quiet summer afternoon or in the middle of the night and we would dance around to all of the songs.... just my cousin and me~

We also had made different choices, but we still always wanted to hang out and chase boys from Provo. Oh how I wish I could find our 90210 picture. I always appreciated how my cousin always made me feel needed and loved and that I could always be myself around her!

What a happy day it was for me when one of those boys we chased came back into her life and brought my Cheryl back and took her to the temple.


Now they have cute babies, who I wish I could see and live next door to and spoil. Some day hopefully in the near future we can hang out again like old times...

Maybe this time we can pull out a Cary Grant/Doris Day movie or Jurassic Park for a good laugh...
