Paris

I have visited Paris a  few times, but it was only for a few days at a time. This time was different. We rented an apartment in a residential area for 10 nights. Jeff worked everyday from 3pm-12am (time change) and so every morning we'd get up and enjoy our bread and nutella and then we would head out and sightsee for 3-5 hours. We'd come back in the afternoon and the kids would have free time to relax their tired feet and enjoy movies and croissants. It worked out so well this way. It was so nice not to be rushed. We were able to see almost everything on our list and enjoyed a day at Disneyland Paris during the weekend.

A highlight of the trip was when my dear friend Malian and her family came and joined us for a few days. We had such a great time with them visiting the Eiffell Tower and L'Oranglerie Museum. It was so fun to have that time with them.

I never thought we could work it out to visit Europe during the summertime so we could actually stay longer than a week. I am so glad that everything came together- it really was a dream come true!
