Roaming Around the World
Paris was wonderful and so thanks to the fabulous low fares of Ryan Air (2 euros a person) and Royal Caribbean International, we were able to extend our European Adventure. On June 8, we flew from North Paris to Verona, Italy. I am officially in love with Verona. It is my favorite Italian city. It is so beautiful and clean and not overwhelming with many tourists. We enjoyed 3 nights/ 4 rainy days there exploring many beautiful sites. On June 11, we took the train to Venice, Italy and then walked to the cruise port and boarded the Voyager of the Seas for a 7 night Adriatic Sea cruise. We visited Koper-Slovenia, Ravenna-Italy, Bari-Italy, and Dubrovinik-Croatia on the cruise.
Once we returned to Venice after the cruise, we had 3 days to return to Paris for our flight home. We decided to take the train back so we would have the opportunity to see many other cities in Europe. The kids loved the trains! We visited Innsbruck-Austria, Zurich-Switzerland, and Amsterdam-Holland before returning to Paris.
By the time we made it back to the States, we were exhausted! It is so good to be home!
