Kendama Style

The KENDAMA generation is here. Say goodbye to the expensive electronics- DS, Ipods, and more.. Almost everyday I pull up to carpool line at Creekland, all I can see are all the boys in a circle like this playing with their Kendamas.

Scott likes to make up his own moves.

I'm not sure what Spencer is doing here, but it looks cool :)
I wish I would have invented this toy. I'd be rich just off the sales in Cherokee County, Georgia alone!

Instead of Flat Stanley, Andrew's Kendama has traveled the world!

It's great entertainment when you have to visit boring places like the Luxembourg Gardens.

 Or the Eiffel Tower!

The boys were grateful for it when we were waiting in line to visit Notre Dame.

The best adventure with the Kendama, was when a group we passed in Paris noticed Andrew playing while we were visiting the Sacre-Coeur Montemarte area. They were all excited about watching Andrew show his Kendama skills. I wasn't sure what language they were speaking, but it still was fun to see them react to the new American hobby they witnessed. But I wonder, is it just a southern thing, or is it also big in other states?
