Hawaii Part #2

We first rented a car to drive to San Diego, CA to catch our flight.

 Our little travel companions were so cute! They played and talked the entire way to our first stop:

Las Vegas

 We stayed with one of Kris' best friends from college, Mandi. The two of them are hilarious together. I was laughing so hard until 1am listening to them. I was also trying to find a condo for us to stay in when we arrived in Oahu. I found one and signed the contract all before my phone battery died!

Here we are getting ready to board in San Diego for our 20 minute flight to Los Angeles.

 This was Kya's first flight. The flight attendant gave her a wings pin to celebrate!

 We had a little over an hour layover in Los Angeles and so we went to McDonalds to get some dinner. The girls decided to call their Dads and tell them about the first part of their flight. They walked around like teenagers talking on our phones.

 This is how we looked going through the airports. It was quite the sight. Please note that Kris just had surgery a week ago! What a trooper!

 We checked in the girl's car seats at the gates. An hour into the flight we regretted that decision. It took them forever to fall asleep. Here Kathryn finally gave in about 3 hours into the flight. We finally arrived and were thrilled to feel the warmth and humidity! We drove our rental to the North Shore and checked into our condo at Turtle Bay Resort.
