After leaving Cetona, we drove again through the beautiful landscape of Tuscany towards Siena.
Once we arrived in Siena, we unfortunately couldn't find any parking places (remember a large van is very difficult to park in Europe) and so we continued north towards Lucca.
Once we arrived in Lucca, we found some parking outside of the city wall and so we decided to go and explore!
When we were getting out of the car, we learned quickly that Kathryn wasn't much in the mood to do anything today.
She finally decided to be happy and join with us on the fun. Traveling can be hard on 4 year-olds at times.
We found a bike rental shop after we entered the city centre and unanimously decided to tour the city by bike. Kathryn was so excited to get to ride in the carrier behind my bike. We first started riding around the top of the city wall. It was so much fun!
After awhile we rode down in the city and enjoyed pedaling around the beautiful and colorful streets.
We stopped at the piazzas to take many photos.
The time quickly passed and we had to take our bikes back to the store.
I see more bike tours in our future. Lots of happy kids!
