Biking to Lehon

Near the top of our list of things to do before leaving Dinan was to rent bikes. I was waiting for the perfect moment to when we could all go as a family, but that was hard to do with our school and work schedules. I ended up just renting two bikes for half a day and then everybody would get a turn at different times.
The bike shop that we knew was open for the season was down by the Port de Dinan.
While we were walking there, we had fun watching an antique car parade pass us by.
Dinan isn't a very bike - friendly city with its hills and cobblestone streets. We first went on some paths around the port to get used to riding the bikes.
Kiley is finished with school and so she was able to come with me first!
Next, we went on the path that we had walked on to Lehon. The trees were blooming and mud was gone and so it was the perfect bike trail!
Lehon is a great city for bikes! There are so many places around the village center and bike paths along the river.

Biking along the River Rance was so amazing! It was definitely one of the best bike trails that I have ever been on!
We biked around 5-6 miles and then took the bikes to the boys for their turn. We wish the bike store had been opened earlier and so we could have done this a few times before leaving Dinan, but I'm glad we were able to at least gone once.
