A few weeks ago, we decided to go and visit the Palais Carnoles in Menton.
It was a little bit of walk, but we were able to see many things around the city we hadn't seen before.
We love the sun! It has taken awhile for us to get used to the weather. It's only around 70 degrees here, but to us, it feels like 90 degrees.
We found a small park on the way and stopped to let Kathryn play.
Okay, so maybe not only Kathryn enjoys the parks!
The Palais Carnoles was a summer retreat for the royal family in Monaco. It now houses the Musee des Beaux-Arts.
This month, the art museum had the work of James Rassiat on display.
It was a quick visit for us inside because they were getting ready to close for lunch.
We were still able to enjoy the beautiful gardens.
Next we walked a few blocks to the beach to look for some lunch options.
We found some pizza! (Not as good as what you can find over the border in Italy!)
Luckily, next door was a gelato shop so we were able to enjoy some yummy dessert on our walk home!
