Christmas 2011

 

Over the river and through the woods for 29 hours, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa King's for Christmas! We left Dec. 16 and stayed until Jan. 1. We had high hopes for lots of snow in Utah, but of course there was none and it was the driest December on record for awhile.

We haven't had the opportunity to be with the King side of the family for Christmas for about 3 years, and so it was great to catch up with everyone and spend time with them. On Christmas Eve, we attended the annual party. Kiley was excited to participate in the performance part of the event.

 Luckily, Santa found us in Utah and delivered some great gifts for everyone. We actually slept in til after 7am. Grandma King was waiting patiently and excitedly for us to come downstairs.

 Our performer Kiley was thrilled to receive a karaoke machine! We were able to use Scott's SD card with the "Wicked" soundtrack on it and she sang her heart away for the rest of the visit. Kathryn enjoyed her turn to sing too! The boys were excited with all the gifts they received (hopefully).
