Our First (and probably last) Visitor in France

Grandma King arrived in Paris today. It is definitely Christmas for the Cannegieter family.
Our first guest!

When we had finalized our plans to move to France, my mom said that she was going to save up to come and visit us. She has always been good about coming and spending a few weeks with us each year. It worked out perfectly for her to come this month because she is going to have a busy summer with many graduations and weddings.

We weren't sure how she would be doing after such a long flight, but once we all got in the car she asked us what we were going to see first! We took her to the Eiffel tower and from there we were able to get on a Seine River cruise, which is great way to do a drive - through tour of Paris (especially for the jet-lagged!)

It was starting to get a little chilly and so we opted for the indoor seats.

Lots of smiles! We all love Grandma King!

Kathryn loved showing Grandma her Paris. We hope to get back up there before she leaves and so we can show her some more of the sites!
