St. Malo Aquarium

Since we are dependent upon public transportation, I'm always looking for places for us to visit on Saturdays that can be reached by bus. We had visited the old town St. Malo a few weekends ago and we saw on the way there that there was an aquarium and the bus stopped across the street from there. On a Saturday last month, there was a lot of rain outside and so we decided to head to the St. Malo Aquarium to get out of the house and have some fun!

We were lucky because it wasn't busy at all and so we had some rooms to ourselves and had ample time to watch and enjoy the fish.

We all love to snorkel and Jeff had a huge fish tank at our house in Georgia and so this was definitely our cup of tea!

A highlight of our visit was getting to ride on the Nautibus. We climbed into little "submarines" and explored a few small tanks. It was like a ride we have been on at Disneyland. Kiley wasn't thrilled about it, but everyone else enjoyed it.

Overall, it was a great day. The aquarium was definitely a little over priced and I think if it had been busy, I would've been a little disappointed. It wasn't as nice and as big as the Chattanooga or Atlanta aquariums, but it still was fun.
